Parallel evaluation comes to Determinate Nix Parallel evaluation drastically cuts evaluation time and improves import-from-derivation (IFD) performance.

Parallel evaluation has arrived in Determinate #Nix! The 3.11.1 release brings this eagerly desired feature to an important set of Nix operations, cutting eval times by 2x or more in many cases. Plus we fixed a macOS issue and improved the default flake template.

Changelog: build-time flake inputs and unauthenticated upgrades Determinate Nix introduces a new type of flake input for sources and `determinate-nixd upgrade` now works without logging in.

Determinate Nix 3.9.0 is out with a brand new feature: build-time flake inputs. Currently in developer preview mode, this new capability improves flake evaluation in many cases. And you can now upgrade Determinate #Nix without being logged into FlakeHub. #NixOS
