I finally had an interview last week. I thought it went well but with only 30 mins cut short by her tech issues it was hard to properly sell myself. I followed up. Heard nothing so far.

It's my only hope. I need this. The waiting is horrendous

it goes on and on. the only reason I'm not stir crazy is through writing a book. it's not even any good but it paases the time.

rejected from jobs I want, the ones I don't. everything from min wage to stupid money. it's all ridiculous

I'm tired. 18 months without a job. No I've not had a break. I've been searching in the shittest market ever. Even if I get interviews and nail them, there's always someone with that bit more experience.

It's harder and harder to go again after each rejection. I just want a fucking job!

Applied for a job at old company in old team. Hiring manager doesn't know me but recommended by senior managers as perfect for the role. Hiring manager keen to meet me.

After 3 weeks of no word, automated HR email "thanks for applying but not made it to next stage"

For too long I've been parched of thirst and unable to quench it. Too long I've been starving to death and haven't died. I feel nothing. Not the wind on my face nor the spray of the sea. Nor the warmth of a woman's flesh.

Another week of job rejections. Apparently I have to stay positive so this week I have lost 1 kg in my new fitness regime. Woo.

Interview today and I'm just not feeling it. Stupidly got mentally all in on a job I've only applied for and not heard back from.

Today will suck

Yet I am stuck. Unable to leave a person behind after 20 years. Unable to stop thinking or dreaming about her.

Painfully aware it is not her. She has moved on, lived, loved and experienced life without me.

Yet I am stuck.

If we do lose any of them, at least we will have had them for the whole season and hopefully with a few more titles.

It's never great to lose legends but the club will go on
