Don’t want to be the middle aged guy talking about computer games on the internet, but if Leon S. Kennedy dies later this week I will riot.

With Ring, American Consumers Built a Surveillance Dragnet Ring's 'Search Party' is dystopian surveillance accelerationism.

Ring has always been a surveillance tool, but adding AI analysis and networking the devices together — like with its "Search Party" feature — turns discrete pieces of tech into massive, automated surveillance dragnets, @jasonkoebler.bsky.social writes. www.404media.co/with-ring-am...

Find yourself a partner who loves you like the experimental music underground loves Giorgio Agamben's most questionable works.

Was Modern Art Really a CIA Psy-Op? - JSTOR Daily The number of MoMA-CIA crossovers is highly suspicious, to say the least.

We've hit the point of the semester in my Digital Art class where we have to ask, given how entangled the military industrial complex was computer art and avant garde 20th c art more generally, was the whole thing just a CIA Psy-Op:

A fearless rocket engineer, groundbreaking artist and communist ‘traitor’

Dr @stephenroddy.bsky.social shares the life and legacy of Frank Malina in a new series dedicated to unsung heroes of science on @theconversation.com.

Yeah. Pretty bleak

Thanks! He led a crazy life. Didn't even get into the strangely prophetic film script himself and Parsons shopped around Hollywood or the fact that he supported that artistic career with money from his stake as a co-founder of Aerojet.
I also left out the really depressing McCarthy era horrors.

It is very elegant to be fair. Like you program the microcontroller as normal and then pass values across to scripts in computer part in Linux. They seem to be supporting python in that side and it’s all very easy. Like, really simplifies things having both on 1 board. I’d totally recommend it.
