OK I get it, BlueSky is a micro blogging site etc, but gods I just don't like the 300 character format. I know, I know - it's the paradigm of the platform and I should deal with it.

Its just that the limitation kind of forces interactions that feel shallow and performative at times.

It seems that a lot of what I have to say these days is just negative - complaining. I try not to be "that negative Nancy" but with us being on the absolute stupidest timeline... Social media and news are toxic - I was away from it for 3 weeks while on a vacation (sparingly used a couple of FB groups related to the event I was helping to run but that's it)... my world view was MUCH healthier. I don't know how to balance being informed with becoming Jaded / cynical.

The reason why there's no "Joe Rogan of the Left" is that the left tends to be biased against just credulously accepting any BS their guests want to peddle - He's the Art Bell of podcasting... Really not something we wanna emulate is he?

I was having some thoughts related to why I bother writing blog/content online. I think I kind of worked out what I want to do and why I'm doing it
