Only one word can describe it. #Spiritual. Standing on the cliff, I watch the waves crash against the rocks below. The wide Pacific Ocean stretches out to the horizon, whitecaps glittering in the setting sun. Then that anticipated moment as it slips from view with its trademark green flash.

Fast fades girls' innocence these days.
Doe-eyed naïveté,
to wariness and guile gives way.
Or acerbic brittleness,
that some may call misplaced.
Unfitting feminity...

Not me.
In this beguiling world, it pays
for girls to be aware,
and not mislaid.
