One thing I want to do with this pedal is use it to put together a travel guitar kit.

I would like to be able to play guitar while traveling, without bringing an amp. So being able to play through a Bluetooth speaker or something, with the ability to play along to backing tracks.

Doing some research, it seems that pre 3rd gen (mine is 2nd) Focusrite Scarlet boxes are real shit at dealing with super high impedance inputs, and that can cause that issue.

It’s funny that guitar -> interface is mostly fine, but guitar -> rockman -> interface behaves very differently.

So I’ve been playing around with this a bunch this week.

Something that was confusing me is that when playing into my mixer, it sounds great. When playing into my Focusrite box, it sounds like absolute shit.

The high end is missing, mids are muddy. It’s just bad.

Tbh, winter tires are much more for not sliding off the road when it’s 35 and rainy than for driving in the snow. Summer tires turn into rocks bellow like 50f, and won’t grip for shit

Another aspect of 2 sets of tires is you put less miles on the expensive summer tires. That 20-30k miles will last you many years of summer driving, and you can have cheaper tires for winter driving/pothole dodging.

They will 100% last ~less~ long, and you will need winter tires. But if you’re spending $70k on a sports car, 2 sets of tires should be part of the deal imo. You’ll enjoy it more for sure

I only replaced the rears this spring, so they had like 28k on them. And that’s on a 668hp, RWD car that has been raced many times, done track days, burnouts, doughnuts, etc.

Imo, there is no point owning a car like that if you aren’t going to put high performance tires on it.

Z51 comes with PS4S tires it looks like, which is all I’ve ran on the M3 and Blackwing. I have 30k miles on my front tires on the Blackwing, your info on how long they last is totally wrong.
