President Obama was almost to the helicopter when he turned around and gave a big wave and smile to the tour. My gs announced to no one in particular, “I told you we would see him”. 4/4
Grandson took off like a shot to the window, ducked under the balustrade and sat on the window sill. We all suddenly heard Marine One coming down. Right under the window he was sitting at. A group of people exited the WH and headed for the helicopter, President Obama with them. 3/4
No matter what we said, he was sure. As we toured, he was reciting everything you can imagine about the history of America, the White House, etc. At one point, he wandered near Secret Service. The man leaned down and whispered something to him. 2/4

This is long, but bear with me. We visited DC with my grandsons. Had passes for the White House tour. One gs, 7 (on the spectrum), was obsessed with all things presidential. He insisted for months we would see President Obama when we toured. 1/4

Yesterday, five-year-old Liam and his dad Adrian were released from Dilley detention center. I picked them up last night and escorted them back to Minnesota this morning.
