My dad wanted a brown bean soup, so I said I'd make it. He did not want to, he says he imposes on me enough. I said it's not true, and I love cooking. I made nearly a gallon.

Seven more to go. Freezing temperatures will set in by the end of the week. I want them secure in my (non heated) glass house. We grew them from seeds we picked up from the streets and brought back to Belgium (not sure if this is legal.🫣)

Over the years I have read many books and watched many documentaries about WWII especially the death camps. I just can’t watch the videos you post all the way through. They are the same horrors and I just can’t witness like that anymore… but you need to keep the message going….

Many non-vegans do not truly realize that it is their money that keeps the cruelty going. Others truly don't care, they care about their wallet. Buying an iPhone but not buying the more expensive eggs from better treated hens.

Every morning I set our a clean glass and mug, filled to the brim, next to my sink. Refill it multiple times per day. They also have bowls with clean water in the kitchen and living room. They drink from those. But they love the water from dirty dishes I left temporarily in the sink. 😅
