To my friends from Australia and New Zealand; your friendly local game story can order copies of Sig: City of Blades from Aetherworks if you want a copy of our planar fantasy heist game, forged in the dark. :)
So, industry friends, is there any decent solution to this kind of problem? Even running on a shoestring budget I am struggling to pay the bills while not paying myself.
This means that I either need to find a way to advertise in the hopes of it at least paying for itself, or try to find a way to discount the thing even more to dispose of copies. You know things are dire when you start pondering moving stock to amazon...
I have hundreds of high-quality products that I was able to get in before the tariff barriers came down, but no way to effectively market the thing to retailers or direct customers. www.indiepressrevolution.com/xcart/Once-M...
The biggest challenge I have is with the inventory of Once More Into the Void. @temporalhiccup.bsky.social designed a fabulous game which did well on Kickstarter, and we were able to get a decently large offset print run from China. The books are in the USA and waiting at IPR.
I have been able to spread the word about After the War with the publication of my little supplement in the form of Songfall Survivors but even kickstarter is weaker than usual these days. I have a few excellent missions in the hopper at least and hope to get Black Hole Sun out in the coming months
Two years ago, I could have realistically relied on social media campaigns including paid ads on Facebook to spread the word but neither of those is terribly effective in the era of AI slop. Not to mention the fact the economic downturns hurt discretionary spending.
Running a small business is hard, and doubly so during the chaos of the current administration. We are currently in the messy situation where we have some inventory in Australia (Sig: City of Blades) and in the United States (After the War and Once More Into the Void), but no way to market.

Having just finished Plur1bus, I am blown away at the similarities between that and After the War (by @alasdairstuart.com ). Basically, Plur1bus is what would have happened if the Song had been able to infect humanity without resistance. One singular peaceful hive mind driven to enslave others.
My first thought when seeing the diagram is that it appears to be an interlocking set of gears and each faction would be rotating relative to the others. Thanks for making me think!
Britain. 1813. Across the island, the folk ballads of the common people are coming to life. The dead walk, dragons rise, lovers betray one another, authorities condemn innocents to die — whatever happens in the song happens in real life. My latest TTRPG is coming soon to Kickstarter! #ttrpg
If you have the means, please donate to the Trans Continental Pipeline right now. They are a Colorado based org that helps trans people relocate and they are overwhelmed with requests. Colorado borders Kansas, and TCP has the infrastructure to help get people out.

Don't let your kids grow up to be small publishers. Inventory and accounting will be the death of me
Hello everybody. My name is Olivia, I am the social media coordinator for MCG, and I have made a very silly, embarrassing mistake.
Our team has been busy getting ready for GAMA (among some personal issues that have left the Kansas crew a bit scattered), and (1/5)

To my friends in the Australia and New Zealand; we actually have some copies of Sig: City of Blades available if you want them. Your friendly local game store can order from Aetherworks and it will be shipped locally. :)
Because of the National driver register, since their licenses are suspended, trans folks cannot move to another state and get a new license until they remove the suspension on their existing Kansas license.
They can't even escape this by moving to another state.

They have been working on Europe for a long time. It started with Bannon and Cambridge Analytica with Brexit. It continues with Bannon and Musk in the UK who want to stir up anti-immigration via staged rallies and oust Starmer. Rubio is a fascist tool.

That sounds like it would fall under small claims court. Good luck!
I am not a lawyer and this does not constitute legal advice. That said, it will depend on your jurisdiction (country) and likely what kind of economic harm you can demonstrate. The more economic damages, the more you can recoup in general.
Jason Morningstar is the absolute master of the technique and I merely try to follow in his footsteps.

A pile of PDFs have gone out the door to backers of Songfall Survivors and most of the hard copies have gone out. I hope to send out the remaining physical rewards and shipping invoices shortly so we can wrap this up.
