Looks like the US could finally be getting a new sunscreen molecule next year - 30 years since the last (via @cenmag.bsky.social)

This is perfect and I love your agonising picture, it’s not good for one’s teaching ego! Teaching is brutal at times! Great article, thanks.

How do you generate the heat map? Does Strava do it? I cycle regularly but don’t have Strava on.

The national gap between

"What SLT think happen in their schools"

And

"What actually happens in their schools"

Is huge

Autonomy, authority and anarchy: creating a better school culture Most schools live with a quiet tension between what’s written in policy and what actually happens in lessons. Getting to grips with this tension is at the heart of creating an improved school culture.

NEW POST

On leadership, autonomy, and the disjoint between "what we say we do" and "what we actually do"

Check it out here and share if you can 🙏🙏🙏

Love this. It is so important to include ‘why’ but also non-examples. A variation of this is used in Frayer diagrams.

If learning ONLY happened in the classroom, with one of the best teachers you could find, i think it would be hamstrung without pupils personally consolidating work?

I do agree with these, and I’ve been reading lots on cog sci, but my thoughts , based on being on the classroom, are now centred around how much of this OS dependent on pupils doing their own consolidation?
