It is weird to see dual carraige way without central barriers at all. The A33 just outside Reading is still in that state.

My calculations make it 1.5 ton, so well within the car category could be at that sort of weight.

Having visited, I personally concluded it's likely at least of the collectors at Calke Abbey was autistic, just based on how they stored the collection. With multiple collections present, it can be hard to divide them up when visiting, so it could well be more than one.

These are unpleasant underpasses but it would take minimal investment to add lighting, surface treatments, and cctv to discourage the ne'er do wells which would make a huge difference.

We refuse to appreciate the value of walking and cycling routes because economic appraisals are rigged for cars.
