I’m staggered that this is still happening in this day and age! When you compare the stringent environmental conditions nearly every industry has to adhere to in the Uk to avoid polluting water courses. It’s unfathomable that water companies can get away with it. They need to sort their shit out!

Snowed again last night

After a five month wait our sofas were finally delivered yesterday. This was monumental as when we moved house in October we decided not to bring our old knackered sofas with us. I have been sat on garden furniture ever since! Still got some decoration to do though 😔

Busy weekend completed. A whole lot of wood was split with an axe and stacked. I may regret this tomorrow! Sloany finished painting the lounge. Dubhghall turned 5, and we went on a massive hike in the highlands. Steak dinner and bed, knackered. New sofas delivered tomorrow, only 5 months late.

I’m approaching my 50th birthday in April. I have noticed that my body has changed/evolved in the last few months. The hereditary Singer family paunch have been evident for sometime, I can now confirm that i have also inherited bloating, leading to uncontrollable, diabolically loud flatulence.

It’s very cold and tastes like no other water I have ever tried. Trouble is, it’s so good, all other water is a bit meh. It makes great tea, coffee, squash, a drop goes well with a dram 🥃! I’m being spoilt and nowhere else can compare.

So since we moved a remote cottage in October of last year. We have been drinking water 🚰 from our private water supply. It filters through granite and a bit 🤏 of limestone and out of the mountain, much further up. Passes through some pipes down to the house, through a light filter and out the tap.
