the problem, as always, is that twitter feels like THE hub of culture online. its that and tiktok, which im also on. and i value being tapped in like that quite a bit

im inching closer to switching every day. people finally doing it and twitter using everyones tweets for ai makes it incredibly tempting

i think the domain names look very bad in the bodies of tweets. like when someone says @ankle.bsky.social it looks waaay too clunky

LOL fair, i mostly mean people whos schedule is too busy. fully employed people with families and kids and stuff. where too much time online could cause tangible damage beyond soul rot

i do see its value as a middle ground, i see a lot more professionals on here atm. folks who want to be online as a way to network and touch base with people, but cant afford to he addicted

my primary reason to use twitter instead of just like, a private google doc, is cus its where Most People are. its where i can farm the most attention, take in the most culture, see the most opinions. i like bluesky better generally, but itll be hard to beat twitter at That
