To be honest it's a demographic I didn't realize we produced en masse anymore.I was very wrong about that. But I remember a Croatian man (from Yugoslavia) explaining to me how demagogues can reignite ethnic (etc)fires that had cooled.Doesn't take much to rekindle hate.

The danger is in repeating the tit-for-tat retribution cycle that toppled Rome's Republic.
The dilemma is how to punish constitutional transgressions without feeding into that cycle and making it ever more murderous and destructive.
