Today marks the birthday of the late, great Elizabeth Taylor. As well as being a bonafide big screen legend, the actress was also a life-long ally of the LGBTQ+ community.

It’s estimated that PEPFAR (the bi-partisan President’s fund to tackle AIDS) has saved 26 million lives since 2003.
But in 2025, PEPFAR’s lifesaving momentum was slowed down by Trump’s administration, which has radically different ideas about global health funding – particularly for #HIV.
