Rosie seated next to him has her face turned away, giggling to herself. Valentino snips at Vox: “Why won’t he let me pet him?!” Vox tells him to shut up before mentioning that the shadow is purring. In the third panel, Vox states with a shit eating grin on his face while looking at Alastor: “How… cute~.” Alastor’s shadow is sporting a mischievous grin of its own. The last panel shows Alastor’s angry expression intensifying with his smile looking more like a snarl. His ears are pinned back and he is growling.
