Tribble's in love with our bathmats and so frequently I go into the bathroom to see him splayed out rubbing on them. I always politely greet him with "I see what you're doing you pervert".

Yeah no that's exactly why. Shit I had a fucked roof for a few months at one place and it took MONTHS for the sound of rain to sound nice instead of anxiety inducing again. House stability is like. The number one thing we all need for a baseline of mental wellness.
Fuuuuuuck that that sucks so much D:
ok I did the colour thing
I got 0.0065 and apparently this is "good" but idk man, some of those light blues were impossible for me to tell apart.
to be fair I guess I am getting older, eyesight's kind of a youth game.

reading a vn and this route has bikers and a character just got a leather jacket and just romantically described it as "as breatheable as cotton" my darling author please god do you really not know a SINGLE person with a leather jacket you could have spoken to about this
trying to do a little creative writing and getting annoyed because my brain isn't really recovered enough lmao. I have written a couple of paragraphs which is not nothing, but still! I am frustrated!!

We have a big enough Irish population in St Kilda that I have now tried multiple spice bags from multiple places and god damn man, Jimmy O'Neill's is the best one by far. It's so fucking good.
Post therapy spice bag
Thinking about the Iranian soccer players. This was correct then and its correct now @firstdogonthemoon.bsky.social. How small we made ourselves.
... why is this dude talking about his private medical information on SPEAKER PHONE in this waiting room what the FUCK π
We are not a minority we are an inevitability. Either you die young or you become disabled one day, physically, sensorily or cognitively.
the only pain relief I'm allowed is panadol and I'm only allowed 4 tablets a day.
so the medication (two of them) that I'd been on for over a decade that kept my fibro in check is completely out of my system. I am rawdogging fibro, on top of recovering from nearly dying.
it's tough.
wait did I even tell bsky about that? yeah they stopped like, almost all medication I was on because my liver got all fucked from the antibiotics - "deranged liver syndrome" is the funniest thing I've been diagnosed with so I'm not even that mad - but it means I'm off all meds until my liver's ok
had a little cry and now we're getting pizza for dinner.
I'm okay, I'm just - struggling. Recovery is hard at the best of times, but the fact I'm completely unmedicated for my fibro right now is making everything ten times worse than it needs to be.
Not quite - this was a team effort, but I can do little stuff like do some chopping or mix a salad, but mostly my brain is doing well enough that I can boss Lee around to do and get things haha
(almost) matching lunch platters today :)
* Carrot sticks
* Celery sticks
* Capsicum sticks
* Cherry tomatoes (Lee)
* Cashews (me)
* Crackers with cheese (me)
* Crackers with cheese and kabana (Lee)
* Roast sesame cabbage salad with crispy onions
Funny joke for people who've never been in that situation maybe.
I haven't sleepwalked but as someone with a lot of experience, especially these past couple months, with "things happening to, by and with my body that I'm not aware of until someone tells me later", I have a LOT of empathy.
i'm looking to talk to any australian pokemon fans for a piece i'm writing for guardian aus, especially anyone with memories of the first wave of Pokemania in Australia.
