Unfortunately it's all too common... Even the "alternative" salons that don't price by gender are just 60+ euros for everyone, which is a little too pricey for me atm and for the kind of cut I want. So fingers crossed that barber place will be accomodating.

Most of the local barbershops have similarly high prices, alas :'D
Buuut I might have found one! I'll try walking there tomorrow and ask if they'd be willing to charge me the men's price for a masc haircut (which is HALF of the price of the fem "short" haircut)

Ohh that's cool! I didn't know you could do that. Though I also don't know if there are any such schools in my area... I'm mostly despairing because I just want a very classic, short, masc haircut, but all the services I see listed online are for fancy trendy stuff

I do it every 6ish months too. Don't have the courage or dexterity to cut it myself ahah, so it just kinda gets long and annoying

Man, the prices for a haircut keep rising ._.
Fighting for my life trying to find a place that's affordable and does what I want (just a simple short haircut, the most basic thing of all, I don't care about colors and brushings and whatever. please. just "this but shorter". why can't I find that.)

But bug specifically has a beginning that subverts the way I usually do things, and I've honestly not... seen exactly *that* done before... so we'll see how it's received
