Trump was targeted by James specifically because he was the R leader. My Twitter feed cheered her on bc he was the R leader.

But the crime charged was victimless and technical.

Yes, Trump is a criminal. But you can’t credibly deny that the NY/GA prosecutions were politically motivated.

To be clear, if the question is “who’s worse, Trump or Biden/James/Willis/Garland,” the answer is Trump.

Second question first, I don’t think Biden had anything to do with any of the prosecutions against Trump.

But cmon. James is a Dem politician. She won her office by promising the majority-Dem electorate that she’d prosecute the leader of the opposition party. That doesn’t happen all the time.

It was still lawfare. James ran for office promising to prosecute Trump. She was just good at it.

I dunno. I think there’s a few problems with that reasoning.

1. By definition, doesn’t an indictment mean there’s probable cause to believe the person committed a crime?

2. James’s prosecution of Trump was clearly politically motivated.

3. How can we know if James committed crimes before now?

My overall point is that any anti-tyranny benefit from widespread gun ownership is minimal at best and is far outweighed by the destruction guns cause.

To me, the cost of that particular freedom is too high.
