I have been watching this on and off! So good but also so disturbing with murder scenes I had to pause, because with the state of the world, I need my TV to be escapism…
Sometimes when I read the increasingly insane news about authoritarian bully-politicians, heartless billionaires exploiting people, wars, environmental destruction for shameless profit…I think, “Is this a nightmare set in one of multiple dystopian settings from my sci-fi themed books/movies/games?”😫
For those lamenting the amount, it isn’t $5M divided between 49K workers. There are specific amounts that each company had to pay to a specific number of workers, depending on how much shortfall there was for the relevant period. Headlines are handy, but they don’t tell the full story. Still a win!
