Last night’s special Council meeting discussed Niagara Reg’l Chair Bob Gale’s letter. Our Mayor will formally send Council’s feedback: opposed to amalgamation, but open to reviewing regional governance and reducing duplication and redundancies at the regional level. #GrimsbyON

What began as one conversation became many — highlighting how integrity commissioner complaints are too often used to sideline women in municipal politics. We’ve raised this with committees and ministers, and the work continues in 2026. Quiet progress still moves the needle.
