Probably not. The remaining stuff that I had was the more tedious tokens like logging all creatures and getting the last couple of tools.

Anyways, can't wait for dlc. Great game, absolutely clobbered my ability to study for any of my tests.

I know that a lot of the bugs were kickstarter backer characters, but I think more could have been done with them all esp since they weren't voiced much. It made it tough to really get to know different characters and I ultimately felt that there were only a couple that I *liked*.

I think my only real critique is that the game didn't really give us a ton in the way of characters and interactions. Sherma and Trobio were standouts, but I wanted bugs in town to comment when I'd completed quests or beaten major bosses.

Most bosses were also really fun and I was really craving more as I churned through act 3. The only ones I didn't like at all were Plasmified Zango because it felt so monotonous and Savage Beastfly because of the lack of anticipation animations.

The combat was also really smooth. I stuck with the Hunters Crest for almost the entirety of my playthrough - only used the reaper crest against Savage Beast Fly - and I can say for sure that the diagonal pogo makes both traversal and quick combat feel downright magical once I got the hang of it.

The platforming components of the game are phenomenal. There's all this subtle design language that they do to communicate what you need to do that I was picking up on that never made me want to quit out of frustration.

Silksong game completion scene. Percentage complete is 95%, done over 92 hours and 42 minutes of play time.

I beat Silksong! I wasn't expecting to like it as much as I did, since I didn't actually complete the original Hollow Knight. I'm rating it a 9.5/10 experience.

I don't like being doomer on here, but let me be perfectly clear in showing my hand right now:

I only have health insurance because of the ACA. If I make over 29k in a year, I will lose coverage for the only medicine keeping me *alive.* If the ACA gets dismantled, full stop, I WILL DIE.

All in all, I find the story to be a very well animated very large bowl of lightly salted popcorn. I can hope that there will be other flavors in there but I know there will be none because the quality of the writing is unable to go beyond the basics.

The worldbuilding also really frustrates me. Kaiju have been cropping up in Japan for centuries according to the story, so why does Japan build like our world's Japan? If the threat can pop up anywhere, cities should be built like fortresses and the culture should be defined partly by the threat.

I also find that the goals of the characters feel super flat because they all boil down to "I want to get stronger to kill Kaiju better." There's no actual diversity of thought or goal and so the only actual distinguishing factors are "who do they want to get close to" and "how do they fight"

PLUS they made a whole big deal about him reducing turning into a Kaiju because he's not fully turning back! Why not lean into his human strengths and make him only turn into a Kaiju when he absolutely has to?
