That said! I did put real care into adapting things like text speed, pause timing, and even the little beep SFX for each character’s lines.
Didn’t have much time for final testing, but the demo’s up now!

Finished translating all the demo text into English—gracias a Sensei ChatGPT (ﾟ∀。) Did a quick check on the meme references and puzzle hints myself.
No time to check line-by-line in-game, so I’m just praying nothing breaks the UI…

And whenever I feel bad, I just remember how early localization of Needy Girl Overdose translated “メンヘラ” as “土妹子”(Country Girl in Mandarin) and that version stayed on the store page for months. Then I can forgive myself ya _(┐「ε:)_

The version currently on the store page? Not sure if it looks “good,” but if it at least makes people laugh, that’s a win.

and I haven’t uploaded the English version yet. Before all is done, I’m too embarrassed to share it with friends just yet haha (scratches head)

Still got some mess left on the trailer. For some reason, it doesn’t play properly on certain Android browsers— probably a transcoding issue, but honestly I have no idea why...

took a full three-day break from my computer to recover both body and soul...
Today I should be finishing the final text check(for real this time!), then exporting all demo-relevant dialogue for English localization. It’s probably the easiest part of the to-do list...Here I am back to the grind AAaa

According to the Next Fest doc, the demo should be uploaded before the 12th to get picked up by media for early testing—so that’s now my anchor point for the week’s task plan.

Also found a random BPM marker script on GitHub and started manually syncing clips to the beat.

Thanks to Sensei ChatGPT for patiently teaching me After Effects.. After a lot of trial and error, I finally managed to get something could be used! Honestly, it’s only about half as polished as I imagined.. better than nothing, no?
