Did someone say "Panel Layouts"?
Hi, Ben! Happy to chat (though be warned, my dance card is full, well into the future).
My contact info is here:
Haha discovered in comments that I've already read their work on Superman vs. the Klan—which I had been just thinking of as one of @geneluenyang.bsky.social's projects! 😂
Thanks for the recs, Y'all. Sounds like they're all winners but It's Jeff! is a special little book.
Haha looks like I was *already* reading Girihiru and didn't realize it!! I just thought of that as one of Gene's projects!
Ah!!
Forgot that was them! 😁
*"jumping *on* point"?
Hey, Girihiru fans: Where should I start? Which of their books is a good jumping off point?
Marvel Girls looks adorable... Would that be a good one for me (and Daughter #2)?

Ah, the body language... 😘
I know, Raina sent pix.
Hugs back!! 💜
For me, that ALIEN adaptation by Walt (and the deeply-missed Archie Goodwin) was a masterclass in how comics worked, published when I was still in college, 14 years before my own book about comics came out.

Meme's still going... 😂
Needless to say, I look nothing like *either* of those two original panels these days... 33 years is a long time! 🤷♂️

NEW: Here's the story of a woman deported by Kristi Noem. Legally in the United States (as a DACA recipient), she is the mother of a U.S. citizen and was working to help the homeless—but when she went for an appointment to get a green card, she was deported.

TFW the nostalgia of another is so vivid, I could mistake it for my own.

A cartoon from the 1950’s that’s more relevant than ever 💔
This reminds me of that Frankie Boyle joke about how Americans not only come to your country and kill your people, they also come back twenty years later to make a movie about how killing your people made their soldiers sad.

Once again.
Thank you both. I should really get around to it eventually!
Well, yes, the context was obvious, but I was still curious.
Oh, haha. Still haven't gotten around to it after all these years.
THIS.
I don't recognize it, Farel. What show is this sequence from?
