JUST IN: A Marine expeditionary force and another warship will deploy to the Middle East, according to multiple reports, even as President Donald Trump has suggested the war would end soon.
I agree @gregsargent.bsky.social, but I think we’re missing something important: the Secretary of Defense is panicking, we all can see it, & it’s quite unsettling to see.
I don’t remember Rumsfeld ever showing the slightest bit of panic even when the war wasn’t going well. This guy? Full panic mode
If the law is favorable, argue the law
If the facts are favorable argue the facts
If the facts aren’t on your side, and you don’t know any,
(reading is for cucks)
and the law isn’t on your side, and you don’t know the law, or care (Ibid)
Then get indignant, bang on the lectern, and walk off
It's not crazy or multiple parts, but MQ gave me directions to take Hwy East, when the only choices were Hwy North or Hwy South, like
Hegseth: "We will keep pushing, keep advancing. No quarter, no mercy for our enemies."
No quarter is the refusal to take prisoners and instead just execute everyone. It's been considered a war crime for over a century.
Pentagon sends Marine Expeditionary Unit to Middle East. -WSJ
fuck this so much
we are so not prepared for the mountain of dogshit “scholarship” about to flood journals everywhere
The message from Day 1 has been that every single person they arrest, kidnap, deport or kill has been a narcoterrorist antifa sleeper agent paid by Ayatollah Soros. Especially the five year olds in bunny hats.
Two things here.
One, you don't sit there and whine about media coverage and headlines if things are going well.
Two, the administration is just outright saying that they fully expect Ellison to use CNN to be a Trumpist propaganda organ.

It’s just a video game to them so they burn through real world supply like it’s replenished after earning enough game stats.

110 Tankers stuck in the Persian Gulf.
Iran has struck 18; That’s 16%.
At this rate in 6 weeks there will be no tankers left in the Gulf to transit the Strait of Hormuz.
Problem solved.
My experience of US professional military education is that the profs are both professional and dedicated to educating their “warfighters” (I hate that term) do their job.
When I think of US PME I don’t think radical left, woke communists.
This is so problematic for so many reasons, but just to name one: having thoughtful military leaders is way better than the alternative.
The war against Iran is demonstrating that Clausewitz waa right--war is politics. Which means it is not just lethality and warfighting.
France: "Fuck that."

Explosions in Tehran as Israel says it is launching 'wide-scale' wave of strikes and US says it's easing sanctions on Russian oil stranded at sea
Damn. Called it. This is gonna get worse the longer the air war drags on; our tanker fleet is woefully inadequate for the kind of relentless air campaign this administration wants.
Or any non-European?
What could possibly go wrong? Everything.
Breaking news: A man opened fire in a classroom at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, killing one person and injuring two others before students subdued him, according to the FBI, which said the shooting was being investigated as an act of terrorism.
i feel like if i was tasked with not starting a war and bringing back US manufacturing jobs, i could have done a better job than this
We lost a KC-135 refueling tanker in Iraq. Those big jets, the crew don't have parachutes as I understand, so they're probably lost as well, but I hope not.
So, one could glean from this that sales and visa apps are not "through the roof," and that *someone* is worried the optics will be bad.
Dear world: DO NOT COME
Everything left over from the early 2000s
I dunno. Kinda giving glazed terracotta
