JACOB. FOWLER. 😱

You need to see these saves from the last 1:10 of this game!

On pace for 105 points. They made the playoffs with 91 last season. 91 wouldn't get you a donut this year.

Absolute Carey Price vibes from Fowler as he makes the save of the game

He is Him, it cannot be denied

I've said it before, and I will say it again....

This rebuild, Man. This rebuild.

Demidov scores the winner. Fowler puts in a 941.

Bunch of young guys just getting started already so impressive.

Square .. Square for every single shot. No matter how fast it went cross ice, he was square

Struble Carrier at an 8 per cent share tonight....

Just saying...

Hutson Guhle 76 per cent Expected Goals share.

That's the only good number that sticks out tonight in an otherwise lopsided night in favour of the Sens.

Hutson bringing Guhle into the plus column is huge. Guhle is negative with others. That gives the club two good pairs.

They are the guys who have a 9 percent Expected Goals share for the last three weeks.

Here's the thing on a cross ice one timer.... just hit the net.

The goalie's head is moving so fast that there is no way that he can focus well on it very well.

Not a lot is needed on that shot. Just hit the net top half and it's in.

Demidov had one if he hits the net.

Here is the opening paragraph of my COTW tonight......

Hierarchy is a concept that holds a lot of power in the locker room, but falls apart on the ice. Alexandre Texier simply cannot be in the press box watching inferior players try to hold on to the remaining hours of their career.

Alexandre Texier on his return to the Habs lineup:

β€œI’ve been waiting for this moment. I’m ready to do the little details, the things you have to do to stay (in the lineup). This is where I want to be, I want to help the team. I’m trying to play the right way for 60 mins.”

MICHAEL HAGE UPDATE

Playoffs started tonight. Hage was on fire. 4 assists in a 6-1 win Michigan over Notre Dame.

Hage 49 points in 35 games for 3rd third in college scoring.

Michigan faces Penn State next. Gavin McKenna had 2 helpers in a 6-1 win over Minnesota.

That game should be something.

Hi guys ..... can I get a little help please. I was writing lots for the COTW. I missed who had the Ottawa breakaway just before the Texier goal that Fowler saved.

Thanks in advance

I can't stand him. I've never felt this way about someone in 42 years of watching hockey as a professional.

I am in their corner. It's a hard job. I can't stand him.

Seems like Xhekaj would have been a good choice with Nick Cousins running around all over the ice.

Love that McDavid commercial. He's a good dude. He's not in your face with it, but whenever there's a tough question and a moment to show his character, he always does.

The Canadiens have so much depth that a guy in the press box for a couple weeks enters on the number one line due to illness.

In other words, Caufield out with a virus. Texier in on the top line. MSL didn't want to mess with Dach Evans and Bolduc who are gaining in chemistry

This is better than lots of words. Look at this thing of beauty

Gorgeous .

Now that's some passing.

Suzuki wins the zone as only he can. Dach then picks it up and feeds cross ice to Demidov, who makes a little 3 footer cross crease for a Slafkovsky tap in.

1-0 It's a PP goal.

Craziest tie break ever in WBC tonight.

Mexico and Italy can assure they both advance and eliminate USA if the winning team has fewer than 5 runs.

Lol. Man these hitters are swinging at everything haha
