I think that measuring the acoustic delay to the tympanic membrane (or at least approximating it) could help correct for different setups. Also, I tend to take a longer baseline, and had to subtract that out. Iβll contact you directly about one other suggestion on the UI. Thanks for the great work!
I have recently used abranalysis (from the GitHub repo) for analysis of a couple of recent datasets and it does a very nice job once I account for the acoustic latency differences. I just had to put our data into the right intermediate format, which was a simple process. Very nice contribution!
PREPRINT FUN!! Led by our soon-to-be PhinisheD graduate student Reginald Edwards, we looked at the electrophysiological and histological properties of dorsal cochlear nucleus fusiform neurons (principal output neurons) with age, from p15 up to p578 in CBA/CaJ mice (mice with normal hearing). 1/6

Great job and this is just part of the pushback that, unfortunately, is sorely needed! Letβs hope it sets the pace.
Cochlear Nucleus-so many cell types, different intrinsic physiology, different network engagement, different projections, different multisensory activation, different auditory sensitivity, β¦ and gene expression. And, I dare say that there are a few types still not well characterized.

Since the days of analog amplifiers. Never use commercial acquisition programs.
Electrode holders? EFWright made some fine ones, now owned by a-m systems. A-m has the design info and was trained. Siskyou also makes some nice holders-very stable.
I hope Warner did not stop making chambers and temp controllers.
Traveling to West Virginia University to give a talk for the Cellular & Molecular Biology and Biomedical Engineering Training Program, as per invitation by @EmbraceTheCoda.
I hope to see some of you in Morgantown! hsc.wvu.edu/media/18114/...
Wish I was down at Sunset- weekends wrapped with teaching days so not till late Nov. But this is a great time to be there if the storms stay offshore.
