🗝️ Key findings:

* Lower amplitudes felt more pleasant and less arousing.
* Vibrations on the back were less arousing and more pleasant than on the front or both sides (front and back).
* The perceived intensity of vibration seems to play an important role in shaping emotional experiences.

Briefly, we investigated whether people learn to associate neutral vibration patterns with boredom and stress. If so, would this influence their time perception. Shortly, we showed associatively learned boredom but not stress modulates perceived time.

Thrilled to share our new findings on material timing, combining my interests in affective touch, material perception, and timing! Our temporal bisection experiment shows that pleasant materials extend perceived duration compared to neutral ones.
