Related to my just unnecessary Monzaemon rant, here goes a pic:

All I had in my mind after the episode was wanting to be there in that town, blissfully playing around, being with my big bear friend... Of course my fantasies evolved and became naughtier with time...

The rest of the episode goes as usual, etc etc but man... MAN... Did that episode awaken some things in me...

I mean, heart bubbles (balloon adjacent), hypnosis and mind control, plushies...

Then they discover that they've been attacked and captured by this big-ass teddy bear digimon called Monzaemon, and he trapped them in giant heart bubbles and brainwashed them to be happy all the time...

There I was, tuning into my new favorite monster show, and then there's this episode where all the main crew just get spread out and only Mimi and Palmon are left.

They stumble upon the others who are all in a trance, believing they are toys, and acting all happy and silly...

Ok, so, Digimon was on during a very formative age for me. I was around 7-8 y/o, and I was beginning to have more awareness of myself and the world around me. Needless to say, many of my... 'tastes' manifested during this time...
