It was fun revisiting Bleach after twenty years and thinking "I remember people really like these two together, why was that?" and it's because their entire fight is Soi Fon going "girl, I have been pining for you for over a century, leave the hat man, call me back, I'm begging you."

What fascinates me about that list of popular girls' love pairings in that last repost, is that all those are main or major characters in their respective works, except Soi Fon and Yoruichi.

(They're fan favorites, for sure, but not as central to the story as the others mentioned)
