We grew up in the same neighborhood about 3 miles apart. Went to the same church. It’s a very much lower middle class area in the south suburbs of Chicago. He seems very much a product of this environment and really a common man who made good.

I learned he’s actually from South Holland, one of the suburbs down here. He went to church at the same place I did when I was young.
