Malik Willis said he wasn't prepared for the NFL when he first entered the league -- primarily because of the system he came from.

He's worked at it over the past four years and says he's ready for his opportunity now

Dolphins adding edge rusher Joshua Uche on a one-year deal, per agent Drew Rosenhaus

Had 11.5 sacks for the Patriots in 2022 but hasn't found that form since. He should have plenty of opportunity for a Miami OLB room that's in desperate need of production as it currently stands

2026 NFL free agency: Projecting deals for QB Malik Willis Our NFL Nation reporters played GM and made contract offers for free agent quarterback Malik Willis. Which teams can make the best case to land him?

I had the Dolphins passing on Malik Willis -- but if this is the winning offer, there might be a chance he ends up in South Beach

Personally, I think Miami can make do with Quinn Ewers for at least a season, then really attack "getting their guy" in 2027.

Thoughts?

Dolphins' GM Jon-Eric Sullivan said the team has an "uphill climb" this offseason. He's focused on strengthening the team's foundation and is prepared to play the long game:

"We're not looking for quick fixes here. We're looking to build something that will last over time."

The Dolphins see De’Von Achane and Jaylen Waddle as important parts of their franchise

They’ll listen to offers for both players (as they would for any player) but the plan is for Achane and Waddle to remain in Miami, per Jon-Eric Sullivan

Miami not actively shopping either player

Came from a parody account but Jaylen Waddle still shutting it down

Jon-Eric Sullivan wants a good support system around whoever the Dolphins’ quarterback will be — keeping Waddle in South Florida would help with that

The Dolphins are releasing WR Tyreek Hill — the former all pro suffered a dislocated knee in 2025 and missed the remainder of the season

An expected move considering the direction Miami is going. It’s unclear where he will play in 2026 but it will not be in South Florida

Why Dolphins' Jeff Hafley wrestled his new DC from Green Bay Sean Duggan, who is the second-youngest DC in the NFL, has been with the new Dolphins coach since 2019.

Packers coach Matt LaFleur told Jeff Hafley he was keeping then-linebackers coach Sean Duggan. Hafley made a simple counter:

"No -- Sean's coming with me."

Slowik praises Tagovailoa but won't divulge Dolphins' QB plans Dolphins offensive coordinator Bobby Slowik praised quarterback Tua Tagovailoa for how he handled his benching last season but stopped short of sharing the team's plans for him in 2026.

The Dolphins are "way early" in the player evaluation process but plan to add competition at the quarterback position -- just like every position.
