i think the problem is that my job leaves me too exhausted to come up with new ideas and i’m too much of a perfectionist to let myself spend less than 7-8 hours on a piece

i really want to start making more pieces on a smaller scale instead of pouring all my time and energy into one detailed piece every couple of weeks, but the smaller pieces always seem to underperform…
