A black and white view of a river snaking through a river canyon, viewed from one side. The opposite side of the canyon consists of basalt columns, some vertical, some twisted into curves. The near bank consists of lower basalt columns, their hexagonal tops acting as steps down to the river.

Such majestic shots...fab!

A black and white scene, with a river flowing through a canyon. The viewpoint is quite low down, just above river level, with a longer exposure to capture the motion of the water. The canyon walls consist of interlocked basalt rock columns, with the far wall continuous, while the nearer wall has a break in it, from which the photo is taken. The sky looks moody.

Djúpavík is a great location, very interesting and lots of photos options, especially inside the old herring factory.

A narrow and deep canyon is in the centre of the view, the canyon curving slightly left into the distance. The canyon sides are solid rock. The river in the bottom is a milky in colour. The sky is blue with some fluffy white clouds.

Yes, it's a pretty cool chuck of ice

Always think it looks bluer under a grey sky

A large irregular chuck of blue ice is grounded on a wet black sand beach, surrounded by smaller chucks of ice. The blue of the ice is reflected on the damp sand. Behind the sea is rolling in, taken with a longer exposure to create a blur effect. The sky is moody grey.

Probably my favourite part of Iceland, and that drive is wonderful.

On a black sand beach sits a piece of glacier ice, blue in colour, and with a shape that looks like an elephant seal. Behind a wave is rolling in, taken with a slightly longer exposure to catch the circular motion of the wave as it is about to crash over the ice. All under a moody grey sky.

Who knew there were elephant seals in Iceland?

In the foreground on the right is an old red tractor, simple with no cab, sat on grass, which extends in a gentle slope to meet some low bushes on the horizon. The sky is a mix of light blue and white cloud, being lit slightly orange by the evening sun.

Correct...from ranger at Laki hut...assuming there is a ranger present. I'm not a pro photographer, so not taking commercial photos for sell.

I would add that the webpage of drone rules is buried quite deep within the national park website pages.

There is a comprehensive set of drone rules for the national parks now, which differ in different areas, and time of year and time of day. However...overall there is quite a bit of flexibility if you follow the rules.

Stretching away to the horizon is a row of craters, each largely covered in green moss. Either side are rolling hills of black sand and moss, while to the right in the middle distance is a lake, with a smaller lake behind. The sky is a moody mix of white and grey clouds.

In the centre of the view, a river turns a bend before dropping over a 5m waterfall. The river is surrounded by rolling hills, with higher mountains on the horizon. A mountain track fords the river just above the waterfall. A campervan can be seen driving across the ford.
