Question is, why are other ostensibly Pirate parties in Europe & elsewhere still pampering the PPDE? As a party, it's finished and will never bounce back - electorally or otherwise. Politically and morally? It's betrayed every Pirate principle. It deserves no legitimization or accommodation.

Yet, Kohler has not taken into account that his post legitimizes the likes of #Putin to target other countries as "authoritarian regimes" and attack them to change their governments. After his war of aggression on #Ukraine, he could target #Estonia using Kohler's arguments! Not very clever.

We saw how well this played out in Iraq, Afghanistan, and so many other countries where the ones Kohler simps for "exported democracy and freedom". Kohler, and by extension, the "Pirate" Party Germany, is morally WORSE than Madeleine Albright and Tony Blair - however, they're far weaker.

As for the "Int'l Law protects individuals," argument, it's bullshit. It protects countries, people, AND individuals. Also, Kohler conveniently hides the fact that these wars leave hundreds of thousands of massacred civilians, women, children, elderly behind, and countries in ruins.

Another thing that Kohler tries to insert into the political discourse is that Law protects you ONLY if you're liked by the United States and their hangers-on. If the US gov't singles you out, even if its arguments are lies, it's open season on you and you have no recourse at all.

The hypocrisy and duplicity of Kohler's position is spectacular. Mind you, this is not an "opinion piece" we're talking about; not a "guest post" like the anti-immigrant rants we saw in December. It's a statement by a top-ranking party official, which tells party members what they stand for.

2nd, the double standards are glaring: Iran is an authoritarian regime that "deserves" to be attacked for regime change, but Saudi Arabia, which is every bit as authoritarian AND has funded Al-Qaeda, is in the clear. Cuba and Venezuela are OK to be targeted, Egypt is not.

1st of all, this position attempts to pull a G.W. Bush-like "you're either with us or against us" manichaistic sophisty: if you argue that ALL countries, regardless of government, are protected by Int'l Law, Kohler will say you support authoritarian regimes.

In his "analysis", he clearly sides with Trump and Netanyahu in their unilateral wars, which are illegal even by their own national laws (Trump famously bypassed Congress & Senate). He also claims Int'l Law protects individuals, not "authoritarian regimes". This is a very dangerous position.

Alex Kohler, the "Pirate" Party Germany's foreign policy officer, a man with ZERO credentials on any kind of legal study, wrote an "analysis" where he found "weaknesses" in International Law. Employing a word salad, he makes the case for waging wars against countries the West doesn't like.

Με αφορμή τη δήλωση «το πανεπιστήμιο δεν είναι κινηματογράφος», θυμήθηκα ότι από τα πιο ιδρυτικά στοιχεία των σπουδών μου/μας τότε υπήρξαν οι ταινίες, τα βιβλία, οι μουσικές, οι παραστάσεις, το μπιλιάρδο, οι βόλτες, το χάσιμο χρόνου.
Η φλυαρία περί αριστείας όλα αυτά τα περιγράφει ως πρόβλημα.
Εμείς απλά θα θυμίσουμε την άπειρη σοφία που έδειξε ο ελληνικός λαός το 2019 και το 2023. Έχει μαλλιάσει η γλώσσα μας να τα λέμε.
Την πρότασή μας τη δημοσιεύσαμε 2 χρόνια πριν. Ο άθλιος ν.3481/2005 υπάρχει εδώ και 20 χρόνια. Τόσα προοδευτικά κόμματα με γιατρούς στις τάξεις τους & διασυνδέσεις με γυναικείες οργανώσεις γιατί δεν ασχολήθηκαν 20 χρόνια τώρα μ'αυτές τις μισογυνικές διατάξεις; 5/5
Η δική μας πρόταση αφορά την κατάπτυστη παρ.5 του άρθρου 2, την εξίσου άθλια παρ. 5 του άρθρου 30 και το άρθρο 31. Επίσης, στο άρθρο 36 (πρώην 38), εισάγουμε πειθαρχικό έλεγχο για γιατρούς που επιμένουν να βάζουν τον ταλιμπανισμό τους πάνω απ'τα δικαιώματα των γυναικών. Έχουμε όμως μια απορία. 4/5
...πάνω απ'τα δικαιώματα της εγκύου, αφού δεν πρόκειται ο γιατρός να πληρώσει για βρεφικά είδη, για βρεφονηπιακό σταθμό, για την ιατρική φροντίδα του νεογνού κλπ, καλά θα κάνει να βγάλει το ΣΚΑΣΜΟ και να πραγματοποιήσει την άμβλωση με τη δέουσα επιμέλεια και προσοχή. Τόσο απλά! 3/5
Αφού ο γιατρός δε βάζει αυτός το χέρι στην τσέπη για να καλύψει τα έξοδα της εγκυμοσύνης, για να πληρώσει δικηγόρο για να στηρίξει τη γυναίκα που θα κινδυνέψει με απόλυση επειδή έμεινε έγκυος και στερήθηκε το δικαίωμα στην άμβλωση γιατί ο γιατρός έβαλε την "ηθική του συνείδηση"... 2/
