One of my friends told me this week that he finds the common use of the 45th PotUS name as a verb almost triggering & requested I find a synonym. I’ve consulted 3 thesauri; the best synonym my usuage is “override” which is both too long & too short. Anybody got a good, unusual synonym?

Ok, I missed that. Issue with trying to read on small screen.

I just don’t understand why they need to be so horrible all the time. Don’t they get tired of it?

I’m thinking he’d be real mad if he knew all the Davis-Bacon (federal construction prevailing wage) forms have Spanish versions ..

My last year teaching (college) one of my students had an ASL interpreter in my freshman level drawing/drafting class. Took some getting used to but we all learned some ASL & it helped the kid integrate into the studio better. I can’t imagine why anyone would be against it.

That flyover really needed plowed but they should have closed the lane back where it divides … do you think MoDOT has required training on “how to confuse motorists”? I’ve often wondered over the years …

That’s why we closed our eBay store (an extension/continuance of my late father-in-law’s train store). People don’t really understand how bad it’s gotten. Hopefully it gets there soon!

That’s potentially a win, though I’m skeptical of what an $800k 4 family will look like. Money doesn’t go as far as it used to.

Anything by Pat Benatar. Most Bruce Springsteen. That stupid Thanksgiving song by Arlo Guthrie.

Husband hit that goal last month. He’s been gone an average of 3 days a week, often 5, all year. 2025 looks the same.

Should we have a bsky Anna Kareninina reading group? Support each other thru the hard parts? Maybe over the holiday while people have a little more time. (I’ll be doing audiobook)

I’m trying to figure out who exactly that would benefit. Almost everyone in Missouri will pay more taxes under this scheme, & way more people will have to file sales tax returns: Medical pros? Architects & engineer? Salons? Dog-walking? Income taxes are way easier to calculate & file. Just say no.

Yesterday I realized I can substitute. the word “banana” for “Tomorrow” in the song from Annie. “Banana, banana, I love you, banana, you’re snacking a fruit today.”

Yours is better, obviously.
