I know many of you value the time-honored tradition of voting in person. But we are in unprecedented times & need EVERY vote.
Unless ICE is curtailed, they'll likely be deployed to blue states to intimidate at polls.
EVERYONE NEEDS TO VOTE BY MAIL.
And VOTE EARLY.
Not complying is my full time job.
The "dozens" of court orders that aren't being complied with should be enough to charge someone, anyone, oh, I don't know the acting director of ICE Lyons and/or the Secretary of Homeland Security Noem with contempt of court. For fuck sake. 🙄
It's not quite the most pressing issue at the moment, but the American people absolutely have a right to know the names of the federal officials who shot and killed a man peacefully protesting, who was on his knees, prone in the street when they shot him in the back.
Last night—I took to the Floor and joined a letter led by @trahan.house.gov demanding that Trump restore more than $2 billion in mental health and addiction recovery funding. Late last night, they reversed course, and funding will be restored. A small mercy and important victory, in a sea of chaos!
