I have beat Hollow Knight and boy does that game love to make ambivalent. Love the art, music, some of the gameplay and overall vibes (except in Deepnest which I never want to go to ever again).

Hate the pointless difficulty in areas, run backs and Deepnest which I hate even thinking about.

I think the main thing we've learned about putting flags up all over the place for seemingly no reason is it doesn't bring communities together and it makes a lot of people feel far more unsafe. If the intention of the campaign was to bring us all together, it has failed miserably.

The joke is about the contrast between his exterior and interior. This was generally the joke that Bowser is conquering kingdoms to impress a woman.
