yea, she apparently isn’t equipped to deal with my eating disorder, especially compounded with the OCD. so she is sending me elsewhere 🫩

if/when i take commissions in the future, it’ll be one or two at a time and that’s it. i never want to be the artist with horrible wait times and delivery windows again

it may have taken me some time, but i have made good on all of my refunds and have been working through the last bit of art and it feels awesome to have held to my word 💗

decided i wanted to thrift/upcycle/get everything second hand for my office revamp & today i got a beautiful oak and glass curio cabinet for CHEAAAP of FB marketplace that is absolutely gorgeous and sturdy and lovely. i can’t wait to have all my lil oddities in there 💗

to shelf tattooing all together for a while and I’m bummed about it but I need to follow what makes the most financial sense right now. Originally she was like “whenever you can be here is great” which worked but I can’t commit to an unpaid 36 hour workweek.

WELP my boss is demanding now, suddenly, that she wants us in 3-4 days per week for 9 hour days. I genuinely cannot commit to that with grooming — I would literally miss out on money for a majority of the week to sit in the shop & do nothing. Can’t afford that. So I think perhaps it means it’s time

i mean i know i already posted abt this but i finally started painting, i just didn’t realize how much of the drive was because of all the sadness i have in regards to that space and the things in it

redoing my office again because looking at it now makes me sad and not want to be in it lol

this year has taken a lot out of me, but i am trying to find joy again

I’ve been diving into it since it dropped and i definitely think it’s worth a shot! it’s pretty charming and fun so far

i have dealt with EDs in the past related to my OCD & we aren’t currently in a super bad spot, like thankfully i recognize what’s happening and don’t want to be in that spot again right now or ever. so at least i will get treatment early before it spirals.
