We tried the Red Velvet ones. Very weird.

But don't worry, Morrisons have got you covered.

Not so lovely the "architectural" cycle parking.

Unfortunately its always "other" drivers that are the issue.

When drivers speed down someone else's street to save a few seconds, that's fine. But when other drivers speed down their own street, that's absolutely wrong.

Same outside schools, wrong for "other" drivers to do it, but OK for them to.

Stationary phone distraction isn’t harmless β€” the evidence is clear. It impairs hazard detection and reaction time, with effects lasting well beyond the interaction. This is road danger and it can (and does) have fatal consequences. Academic research strongly backs it (see pic). Enforcement matters.

Remember Obama negotiated a deal with Iran to prevent them from acquiring a nuclear weapon. trump got rid of that deal, failed to secure a new one and is now at war with Iran to prevent them from acquiring a nuclear weapon.

Tell me your Traffic Management sign maker doesn't really know how pedestrian crossings work, without telling me.

"Press beg to cross button and wait for green man" might be a bit more accurate.

A reminder that there's absolutely no evidence of large scale voter irregularities in the UK.

Now it's about voting in person.

It's almost like they just don't want some people to have a vote.....

They're all "pRoTeCt R kIdZ" until it comes to actually doing the hard work of discussing the issues, working through it and agreeing a solution.

Reform will be like this if you elect them into local government, just as they are in Parliament.

They grilled Hillary Clinton for 6 hours today under Oath. She’s a former FLOTUS who never met Epstein or had anything to do with him. They ended up asking her about UFOs. πŸ›ΈWouldn’t it be smarter to Question THE CURRENT FLOTUS, who has known Epstein for decades, and partied with him REGULARLY?

The Gorton and Denton by-election shows people are bitterly disappointed with Labour but horrified by the rise of Reform.

In many parts of the country, it's the Liberal Democrats who can stop Reform.

The student finance system is broken.

The Lib Dem plan would:

πŸ”Ά Halve repayments for someone on Β£35k within 3 years.
πŸ”Ά Reintroduce maintenance grants for the poorest students.
πŸ”Ά Write off a proportion of loans after 10 years in the public service.
πŸ”Ά Stop governments moving the goalposts.

They stand as a reminder of the courage and resilience of its people, and the enduring pain of a war that continues, after four years.

Our commitment to a just and lasting peace is unwavering.

Weirdly, if I'd got the bus after the one I got, or the one after that, I'd have gotten to Central Station quicker.

Driver change on the bus I got, meant two other number 1's went past the one I was on.

Getting public transport shouldn't be so stressful.

And relax, let the train take the strain.

So very nearly missed my train this afternoon.

Not helped by the continuing use of John Dobson Street as a pop up Coach Station....

Still no update from Newcastle City Council on when they'll reopen the actual Coach Station, nor what they can do to persuade Coach Operations to use it....

The Dublin Agreement was a huge deterrent. People knew if they arrived in UK & had claimed elsewhere, approved or denied, they would immediately be returned. Now that data sharing is no longer an automatic right. The UK lost access to several shared mechanisms when it left the EU
