👹 cherishes it in the way she plays soft and delicate... much like playing the flute, but no song comes ready than it is composed on the spot. barbatos would be proud of such things.

they do not duet, but they can create music for each other. i feel like it's just as heartwarming in that effort.

musical mood, it's more spontaneous than graceful. and coming from pure self-indulgence, i see her playing the ukelele on her free time, anything small and portable that can let her voice out at the same time to hum as well. kazuha (🍁)'s event lute does the job well, too.

when it comes to compatibility of sound played alongside his flute, it could just be another flute or other wind instrument, i've figured... but i do ponder if she can practise the guzheng so it pairs in smoothly.

i always feel that.. ✨️ should show more on doubt and hesitation. something that feels wrong with, or about her; where she canonically bottles the feelings, hence.. what is it like to see it from her eyes?; to 👹, to herself, her predicaments; she's not an innocent 'hero', that i'm sure...

to think of ✨️&👹's relationship lies in unanswered questions becomes a main process.. there's things that they would need to talk about, should their interactions come close to personal conflict. the point of avoidance that doesn't just come from 👹 but also pushing hesitance to ✨️.

with her twin. to their closeness, not every perspective aligns, nor reaction is perfect. 👹 and ✨ are not puzzle pieces in one box to complete, rather two separate ones.. missing their pieces, but it doesn't prevent the other to help find it in ways a foreign presence fills the void temporarily...

i never believed in the term of 'soulmates' for 👹✨. in certain cases, as close as they make themselves to be- they don't last forever, and in the next life. and in the present, there's a certain distance set for them that fate never engraves it to be "together as one". even if ✨'s fate is uncertain

i find a certain fondness in the concept of separation, of impermanence; that things can't last forever in many ways where the story emphasizes it many times. time and erosion, the place and the people undergo through constant change throughout eternity and all one can do is live in it.

i think of the caption behind this when i drew it,.. that to 👹, her hand is warm; but to ✨... his hand is delicate, despite the rough calluses obtained from duty. ✨'s touch for him is fragile, instead of the other way around. and 👹'd lean on her as heavily as strength dares for that speck of warmth.

i don't know nor understand enough words that can explain it, but in another way that the solution isn't from ✨️. she's not permanent, she's a variable but not a key. the perception that ✨️'s purifying aura can heal him hence she's a perfect answer to him is... dunno if its needed to delve in that....
