I have gotten 3 kits from SteampunkGarage on esty. All the colored scales and rings are made to order and they look gorgeous! They were fun to put together, even though I scuffed quite a few rings...
I finished it! Going to make more of these in the future 'cuz they look so cool. It may be awhile though, I've got other weaves I want to try out.
I love the design of the swirls/maelstorm units so I got a kit to get started making some for a bracelet. Got 5 of 'em done in like 1½hours and I gotta say that I am glad I got a pair of xuron short nose pliers. I've never worked with rings this small and they've certainly helped.
I was sorta able to make the bracer work? I wanted to use rubber rings to give the piece more elasticity to grip my upper forarm, but miss-sized it. It was a good bit of practice, but I'm going to shelf this for now. I got some other cool patterns I want to work on!
I wanted to practice and started on a sheet of scales. Thinking of forming it into a bracer... Probably. Ended up making the top half have a haphazard pattern. I'm going to make the bottom half purple with blue 'x's.
