I won't pretend like there is some word magician out there that can find the perfect tone to make her feel well-respected and not feel kicked out forcefully, but I can't give you a script for that. Bottom line: She will never take it well. Try to focus on you, your game and how you cannot provide

Like sb else mentioned, definitely not exclusive to gaming and also definitely not a generally valid statement. It's not "gamers" it's a portion of out-of-touch consumers demanding their standard to be met without knowing the work that goes into it. You're doing the space a disfavor with this.
