Workshop got a little bit of an upgrade today
No more standing on cardboard while at the lathe, got me a fancy padded map to cushion the blow of working at it for hours at a time

Her daily wage (for a prefect shift) is 30gold! Which would only buy two ales (we never got a price on the milk)
Yet catering a royal wedding can be done for 50g
Madness!
But then this is a Kingdom that will had a twelve year old make decisions on the on going war

Playing Lil’ Guardsman & I just saw the barmaid say a pint of ale was 15gold, what the Hell!
What sort of fantasy world economy is this?!?

The Irish Motor office finally gave me a slot for getting my license
However I now only have a month to get in as much professional practice as I can
Should only cost me about €800 . . . so, yay?

Just out from seeing the new Anaconda film
It was stupid, silly, but a lot of fun // However numerous people died in the film & I just laughed it off, but one pet snake dies & I’m deeply upset with the film makers for the rest of the viewing

One of the joys of being married to such a smart TTRPG Player & Storyteller is getting to bounce ideas off her for future plot points/story beats in the games I’m running

She is such a well of inspiration

Just watched Star Trek The Motion Picture
I can imagine that back in ‘78-79, the prop department contacted NASA for a design of the Voyager probes so they could build the V6 set
& a Star Trek nerd workin there thought this was so coolest thing ever, but had to keep quiet till the film came out

The internet is awash with Avengers: Doomsday speculation
The film isn’t coming out till Dec of 2026
We’ve got to deal with this for the next year! =|
