I'm tired of tech and the pillaging of talent by those that have gotten to where they are with zero talent and ever worse. Zero empathy.

You can be ethical and empathetic in tech without the holier than thou attitude. Be the change and the solution, not the problem and the source of that problem.

I'm tired of the worst people having job security while those that the c-suites rode on the backs of, struggle or face these situations due to the worst mismanagement ever.

I had to take what I have and make it work with nothing. No funding, no money. Just a book of ideas.

I'll kick, scream, claw, and scratch my way to make something happen though because I have a little time left on Earth to try to make something happen.

I'm tired of the news cycle and the layoffs. I am tired of seeing people, especially friends, and their social posts looking for work.

As small of a player that I am on the tech ladder, I want to do something. Do more. We know the real reasons behind layoffs. Usually the most experienced go first, then the rest.

So I am trying to do something, one project at a time. But I am in no position to be able to start anything.

Every time I see someone laid off from their tech job because of whatever reason (usually it is a lie, a fallacy, or a cop out so higher ups can get paid) I get angry.

There are some ideas I've had as far as "what can I do in some small way to make this better?"

I missed that train this time today 🤣 but that spark is bound to happen.

I was able to have two lobster rolls tonight. I really, truly can tell anyone that is timid or afraid about lobsters or lobster meat being shipped is that it can be done and I wouldn’t do it if it was a risk.

These rolls had tail, claw, leg, and knuckle meat and it was excellent. 🦞🦞

My recent experience with Nixt and Storybook ended in me ditching the project since it was a pain to get the two to work together in harmony.

Last time I really used Storybook 2-3 years ago it was great. Now it just feels heavy and bloated.

It probably originated here. I remember a lot of boys in grade school and high school doing that.
