Sounds like Borderlands 4 had a similar situation as Monster Hunter Wilds where a strong launch is sabotaged by technical issues and killed the long tail.

The damage component is unnecessary. If you require damage to competitors, it just means the company to achieve a level of dominance that can't be ignored before they do evil and then they can't be taken apart without destroying the industry.

That is kind of like the difference between manslaughter and murder though. The absolute definition is murder but the absurdly high level of market share is equivalent to manslaughter. Both are potential risks to a healthy market.

I think the PC version is still a bit buggy so you may need to find some patches. I know the Switch version is relatively fine but I think the PC version has some crashing issues and a few mission bugs.

Yeah. Just like Legends: Arceus had no Gen 8 pokemon aside from Hisuian Forms and the one new genie. There might be some in DLC but, generally the previous game gets the least coverage in the next game.

Honestly, it's pretty crazy that Jun Maeda gets so much variety for the Heaven Burns Red songs. Like it would be one thing if it was just the same kind of J-pop rock like what Konomi Suzuki typically does but there's so many styles in this album.

They do. Vinnie is a big difficulty jump from the previous trainers and if you aren't doing considerable grinding, you should be underleveled. He also leads with two strong Pokemon at this point in the game & is the first trainer with a Mega, with the Mega being the first dragon-type you likely meet

The mobile game is a bit misleading as that only had a bit of EPD doing planning on the game. The amiibo update to New Leaf (plus Happy Home Designer) is the interim game between New Leaf and New Horizons which shows an increasing trend for the gap between titles.

This is the total for the fiscal year so far. The RE games all outsold it this quarter (but DMC5 still sold 350k, which is above its rate from previous years)

It's pretty clear that was the concept when they originally acquired the various studios and created Lumberyard but they clearly had no direction since they have released like 2 games since they started.

And it isn't the one that has two either so, especially weird. My guess is that the Kanto starters Rogue Mega fights were originally planned for about there but they couldn't settle on a good fight with them (and maybe Mega Scrafty) so they were cut.

Pretty sure Dragami Games' pool of titles is pretty small so when they already did Lollipop Chainsaw and Relayer, this is one of the remaining biggish ones.

A lot of it simply relying on one of the major AI companies to not get more money. Right now, they are circling the drain by rotating the money between them, Nvidia/AMD and the big tech companies. So maybe next year? A lot is obfuscated since the AI companies are still private.
