Been following Emberville since 2023, such a journey!

Think "Diablo Lite meets Stardew Valley" and you've got a good starting point in mind for Emberville, the just-announced pixel-art action-adventure-RPG for PC.

I have fallen into the Godot hole and trying to make a game with it. I sink hours of my free time (mostly when I should sleep) into it. It is fun when things work. I have settled for a pixelart theme with mechanics from a lot of different games that I like. Will it blend? Ask me again in a year...

Now when #EmbervillePixelChallenge is over, if time allows I will dive back into boardgame concepting again.

Everything has an end, and for the last day of #EmbervillePixelChallenge, it is the Self-Portrait, I took it literal, and tried my best to capture myself on a 32x32 pixel canvas using the Resurrect 64 palette.

And for Oct 2nd of #EmbervillePixelChallenge, the "Dream Class" was explained to be, what playable class we would want to see in the game Emberville. I made a Warrior subclass, the Runesmith, that uses hammers and runes for buff/debuffs.

Kymia, which in the Emberville universe is still mostly unknown what it actually is, though what we know from game lore is something that can be interpretated as the games respawn mechanic, thus. A respawn loop.

For #EmbervillePixelChallenge 's Sept 27's Beast submission, i can only give you partial "loot" from it, either the mask of a wooden beast, or then the head of a tree humanoid/golem/entity.

For the 26th of Sept, Dusk, I made a little creature that would awake to illuminate the darkness, much like a firefly or will'-o'-the-wisp, yet a stone spirit. I also wanted to animate it, because I found it too cute!

I got my new PC, yay. But I also became Dad², so little to no time for PC. GG

My art designing has been on pause due to my workstation constantly crashing/BSOD, so i am in the process of building a new PC heavier than the old rig.

Living in the boardgame feed, looking at people gaming boardgames and posting of their gameplay. I am not at all jealous.

I have been going back and forth between vector/illustrated cards and pixel art cards. Cannot decide which way to settle with.

Im in the middle of designing a dwarven card deck of units, upgrades (attachments), knowledge (affecting whole deck), relics (better upgrades), and artifacts/wonders (affecting lands), land, and event cards, for my tcg/carddraft area control boardgame 🎲✂️

Graphics, im thinking.. Pixel art. 🤔

Im working on my 3rd board game concept.. a tcg/deckbuilding area control game. So im just figuring out synergies and card names for various traditional fantasy races' decks...

Same whenever i have time for 2. I do 3 as well.
