funnel does not terminate tls, we don't handle your plain text on our servers, the encrypted link is routed by SNI header all the way to the serving node and only then decrypted at your client. we can't do this with plain tcp.

i don't think people who say this have used LLMs all that much. they mostly don't care if you switch languages 3 times in the middle of a sentence. sure they'll stumble on lack of api knowledge for new things, but they do that already and so do the rest of us
