Thanks! I sort of made up the forms based on a much smaller plant in hopes it would not draw the eye too much.

Yeah, I knew I couldn't possibly have every size and color so I figured it was the best option! Plus if I manage to sell through them, it'll make it easier for anyone that misses out on grabbing one.

Ew, I don't get why they don't understand that all use of it is bad. It's just a bad look overall. I'd probably have told her I don't trust any shop with genai anywhere, even in the banner. They need to know why they're losing business.

I've encountered it irl on fabric as well! But it was someone making little banners and flags from it. I asked them if they knew it was genai and they seemed surprised and worried (rather than defensive) like they had no idea. I also had that same feeling for a while afterwards.

So true. At this point I side eye all laser engraved anything tbh, especially with art. But it's a shame because this wasn't even one of those hustle cash grab shops but they were actually hand making stuff with wood and resin :/

Always disheartening to be browsing a shop with items I'm interested in then come across something with genai on it. Suddenly no longer interested, thanks.
(They were really cool handmade fidget toys and I actually wanted one, but the shop just had to ruin it with genai engraved stuff)

The shirts for ECCC are here, my first ever time having shirts in person. I hope I did ok on sizes since I couldn't order many, but I'll have a QR code set up there for specific size-color combos I sell out of or am missing.

My costs for making products have gone up hundreds of dollars. People using cash instead of card would mean saving me hundreds of dollars. I'm doing everything I can to avoid raising prices but I just got an email that all my shirts are going up in cost starting tomorrow. It's a constant battle.

Ignore my weird typos please I'm so tired from con prep rn I can't justify deleting this post just to fix that lol

Use cash in your local communities too!t. The big banks take roughly 3.5% of every transaction. They can't take it from a dollar bill. $20 is worth $20 no matter how many times it's passed around.
So .. fyi, I'm activating tips at shows for this reason, but there is absolutely no obligation for it
