Anyone who actually knows a trans person, anyone who is the parent or sibling or child of a trans person, knows what a terrible, retrograde decision this is by the UK Supreme Court. A ruling based on phantoms created by Rowling and her ilk, which has nothing to do with real people who will suffer.

Text: Der Ort hatte zwei völlig verschiedene Seinsweisen. Im Sommer, wenn alles voller fremder Leute war, die sozusagen die Welt an ihn heranbrachten, gab er sich offen, zugänglich und hatte etwas von der verschlissenen Eleganz Adeliger, deren Steireranzüge einen ganz bestimmten Schnitt hatten. Es gab Burschen, die, wenn es ging, sich den Juli und den August über frei nahmen, um sich den fremden Damen zu widmen. Sie standen als Liebhaber hoch im Kurs. Im Winter hingegen verkörperte der Ort ein nach außen hin fast völlig abgeschlossenes Dorf, das im Schnee fast erstickte und außer den paar Gasthäusern kaum einen Lichtblick bot. Dann waren die Einheimischen wieder aufeinander angewiesen und dazwischen blitzten die Räusche auf, wie die Grablichter zu Allerseelen. Diese Zweigleisigkeit übertrug sich auf so ziemlich alles und es machte einen Unterschied, wann etwas vorfiel, ob im Sommer oder im Winter. Ob Skandal oder Anekdote, das hing nicht zuletzt von der Jahreszeit ab.

Ich hab barbara frischmuth zweimal getroffen. Einmal bei einem sympoisum wo ich was über ihr Kinderbuch Philomena Mückenschnabel schreiben durfte. Und einmal ist sie einfach random zu einer Lesung von mir gekommen. Beide Male wirklich extrem nette Treffen
